Thanks very much, guys. Been a while, thanks to an injury and the hot weather  but finally back at the bench again.

The man at arms in yellow is intended to represent Sir Lawrence Abernethy; I had intended to paint his arms on the surcoat, but there's too much detail and texture on the front, so it would just have ended up a complete trainwreck. I did consider painting them on a shield to lie at his feet on the base, but thought that would just end up looking cluttered.

Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

Excellent paintjobs - the yellow came out especially well.

Thanks very much, chaps!

Finally got the last two done, hoorah!

The knight is Sir Andrew Murray the Younger, son of Wallace's compatriot.

Your painting is really top notch but I really love your choice in movement tray and basing.

Cheers guys! I've also been working on some appropriate terrain for the locality, which would work across a few time periods. Posted in the Gothic Horror section amongst my Silver Bayonet stuff, so rather than cross-post it, here's a link-

They look amazing, individually, and as a group. The movement tray really makes them feel like a real group of soldiers which is a nice break from the rank and file regiments that often look a bit small for what they're meant to be.
