He looks great! I recently purchased the four archers. Lovely miniatures! I am curious what the next pack will be for this range. Matthew Bickley is a fantastic sculptor.

Same here, I'm always eagerly awaiting Matt Bickley sculpts.

Cheers guys! This project is something of a labour of love, and definitely so far represents the pinnacle of my painting...

Yep, Bickley is knocking it out tge park with this range. I must admit though, now I've seen the finished archers, I'm not too enamoured with them (heresy!) I've loved the entire range so far (and his work for Claymore, some of which has snuck in here...),  and these are beautiful sculpts, but the "look" of them just isn't doing it for me for the period. They just look too "primitive", which is a trap he's avoided so far. Bit disappointed to be honest, as I was greatly looking forward to them.

Next pikeman, another future classic pose, I think!

Again beautiful!

From where do you buy the pikes? It's look good.

I really like the archers, but I understand what you mean. I am going to use the archers for my retinue that is from 1214 or so. ;-) It seems that there is some cavalry on the way for Wars of the Bruce's. If it they are of the same level as Matthew Bickley did for Claymore Casting it will look fantastic!

Thanks very much guys! Too kind... :D

The pikes are steel ones that initially came with the figures during the early releases, but I have since got more from North Star.

Agreed, the archers would look much better for the early 1200s!
