Looks fine to me Iain  8), that is, as a distinguished wearer of a daft chinbeard  lol

Hahaha, cheers mate. Looks rather more appropriate on modern man that a 14th century Bute boatman on the make, though!
Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

And so, with LR V2 now on the horizon, and while trying desperately to paint 15mm Romans, I find myself drawn back to the Wars of Independence. Because of course I do. The recent Antediluvian teaser didn't help, mind.

Took the advantage of a couple of dull days to make a start on my interpretation of Sir James Douglas. Actually a Crecy era figure fom Claymore, the kit looks perfectly suitable for the 1320s, and the dynamic pose just fit right in with how I imagined Douglas.

Of course, as soon as I get a froth on for painting, the sunny weather returns and turns the loft into an oven again. As such, further progress may be... sporadic.

He looks lovely. But I have to say that I'm not that happy with threads like these. Or rather, my wallet isn't happy with them.

He definitely looks like someone you don't want to get into a fight with.
