The mainstay of the defenders is a full platoon of Japanese infantry, backed up by another 2 squads of veteran infantry.

To support the infantry, the Japanese are able to deploy a 105mm Howitzer Battery, plus numerous light support weapons.

A pair of Japanese machine-gun bunkers, often located on the beaches with interlinking arcs of fire.

Your Japanese artillery really brings back memories.  There was a Japanese Type 41 75mm Mountain Gun in a park where my dad took us fishing as kids.  My brother and I would get bored fishing and play soldiers instead.  As a kid, I had no idea it was Japanese artillery, but visiting it as an adult I noticed the Japanese writing.
