AWI Spanish uniform experts wanted

With regards to the Yellow AWI Spanish uniform in the below plate:



Does anyone know about the uniform details for the other ranks?

I cant find anything on it.

Yes, there is and it is a fine book. But I didnt see anything on that yellow uniform.

Sorry I can’t see the picture. Found this online which I recognised from
Illustrated Encyclopedia of Uniforms of the American War of Independence 1775-1783 a book I have which unfortunately doesn’t give any specific details on the others ranks.

Of the three Spanish cavalry units which served in North America, the Dragoon’s of America wore yellow coats (no lapels) with blue waistcoat. See picture bottom row second from right.

Sorry I can’t be more help. Other contributors to this forum which much more knowledge than I will hopefully chime in  :)

Havana militia uniforms came in after the return of the city to Spain following its capture by the British during the seven years war. The militia were reorganised following that war along with those for of Spain's other possessions in the new world.

I don't have my sources to hand to check the colour of the uniforms but the style and lace is correct for officers and men, however I don't recall having seen yellow coated militia. My particular interest is only up to 1762 so I may have missed them.
