Cheers again  :)

Got some more in the post but it’ll be a week or two before I get round to them. I will be converting one into a standard bearer which should make a nice addition.

:D

They're getting bigger and bigger...

Added the gun barrel, the railings and a new hatch along with putting clear acrylic balls for the windows.

James, a technical question: How did you make the railings? Beautiful looking sub, by the way.

They are brass stanchions I bought from Hobbies and then threaded with string.

I wonder if that sub could be used for 15mm gaming.

Hi, Dan.

That's the Shark submersible formally from Flagship games. You were asking Mark from Scale Creep about it on TMP in 2011. I was searching for images to refresh my memory.  :D

I don't think Scale Creep supply them anymore; I was going to point out the 'superstructure' as being way off scale for 15's, but you already asked, and had confirmed, they were separate from the hull.

TLDR, occasionally but seldom seen used: Breath holding contraindicated. Keep an eye pealed for a Minnow, the Shark's baby, one piece brother; might appeal even more, scale-wise.

Don't blames you for wanting one; James always makes things look so DAMN tasty.

Doug

Edit
: Late breaking news! I was looking around Scale Creep, and, under Martian Empires' vehicles, I found a Minnow. No image, can't say if it is the same Minnow, or perhaps 'Eel', Dan, but you might check it out. https://scalecreep.com/product_info.php?products_id=9901

Just stumbled into this thread and find the Captain and crewmen quite lovely and very nautical.   Also really dig the sea monster.

Are you going to do some crew kitted out for underwater work?  Seems a proper addition.

And, though I know you said you weren't necessarily following the story entirely - or even closely perhaps - it does seem you need Cyrus Harding, Top the dog, Neb, Gideon Spitt, Pencroft (truly!), and Herbert.  Adding in that lot really expands your gaming 'story' and scenario options.  Of course, then you may want to add a crashed hot air balloon, too.

(Oh, if not readily recognized, those are the principle characters in Jules Verne's Mysterious Island - who encounter and ride around with Captain Nemo in the Nautilus as his "guests".)

And for Cacquie Caribe (hope I spelled that right): if you are not already aware, check out Rebel Minis Nemo Heavy Infantry for underwater work in 15 mm, link: https://www.rebelminis.com/nehein.html.  I have some to form a unit of Nemonauts - awaiting paint.  (Something similar would be great for OSHIRO if he goes that route and they are available in his figure size, too.)

Again, lovely work on the miniatures.

Crickies! I meant drop Mark a line to get more info!

*sigh* If it disappoints, let me know, and I'll take it off your hands. Now I feel responsible, though I'm sure I'd find a use.

Now, back to the adoration of James' work, already in progress...

Doug
