Northstar Muskets and Tomahawks
« on: February 20, 2021, 08:14:57 PM »
Its about time I posted pictures of my Tusket and Mammahawk figures that I finished before Christmas
These are from the Northstar Kickstarter range - valleyboyinnz.wordpress.com
I haven't played a game yet, yes I know a pathetic and perennial excuse because I've completed the figures and so have enough to  play a game, I just have a  few buildings and some cheap conifers that I bought on E bay to tart up and its all done.

Fist of all the Compagnies Franches de la Marine

French Canadian Militia

British Rangers

British Regulars

and finally the Indians

I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colours. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns. - Winston Churchill

They look great.

I wouldn't beat yourself up over having not played yet, neither have I. What an truly rubbish year this has been.

Superb. :-*

I am still painting some of these, which I need for updates of my own rules, but as you say this year has not been very practical for gaming.

Looking good!  I think we’ve all had a crap year for gaming.

Thanks Gents, am more fortunate than most being in NZ but the wargames gods get their own back by not populating the country with than many gamers
I generally play solo but my eye usually glaze over when I start to read any set of rules

Great looking figures, the faces are particularly impressive.

Nice to see these.
Exodus 1:10 KJV
Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

Thank you
Bases are simple really, sand and grit mix on a PVA flooded base
Then dilute Vallejo flat earth dry brushed with Iraqui Sand and then Pale sand
Mix of flock by Woodland scenics and various tufts added

What I am pleased that I did was convert all of my terrain boards to match my figure bases some years ago as per the blog post I did at the timehttps://valleyboyinnz.wordpress.com/2016/01/03/baking-sand/
