3 feathers inn-painting finished page 4
« on: February 24, 2021, 12:31:13 PM »
Commission I'm working on, the 3 feathers inn from a very old white dwarf scenario for WFRP.
Will be playable, with removable roof and first floor.
More pics as I make progress

This is really nice, I'm constantly surprised by what terrain builders are able to throw up, it's already inspiring.

Looking forward to the finished project.

Thanks for sharing.

Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

Looks like a really big place.

I've come to the conclusion that it's usually best to paint the interior walls prior to assembly. Much easier to do, even if you're just gluing in printed decor. If you're actually painting the woodwork and stuff, then prior to assembly interior painting is definitely the way to go.

All internal walls will be painted before fixing inside.
Trying to make it modular for easier painting and storage.
Ground floor is 2 pieces, first floor is 2 pieces, roof is 3 pieces.

This is one impressive build 8)

Especially considering the undoubtedly thousands of tiles you have to look forward to :D

Any plans for staircases etc?

Errr......No! :D
Got some Oshiro laser cut tiles, but might cut strips of 1cm x 1cm tiles.
Will be overscale but maybe more inkeeping with overall size.
Will have a play when I get chance and decide

Holy cow Batman.  That is the biggest inn I’ve seen built to date.  Wow!
