Salut yes.
For me, I will not back this project, as I will star on the Raph/JJG Print rangé for a more uniform look.
And vehicles from Ludocortorum (wich should work on an AMX10 RCR this summer).
No mortar for me, as 120mm mortar are off table support due to the range.

I received the minis I ordered today. They are very tiny and fiddly, but that is because I ordered them in 15mm. I haven't had a real good look but my quick cursory examination shows them to be beyond awesome. And everything survived a month and a half in transit. Now because they are very fine I have told my son they will have to be based in such a way as to really force you to pick them up by the base. Maybe I should cast them in clear plastic blocks! In any case a very satisfied customer at this time. I may go blind or have a psychotic episode painting them.

Thanks for all the inspiration and the information on JJG figures!  Have been wanting to start gaming Mali and the Sahel in general, but was having trouble finding figures.  Going to put an order in.

We’re planning skirmish games for modern, so going for 28mm.

Here's my army as it stands today.
I received some minis and the "standard" infantry is complete (but I must add some special forces during summer) :

Infantry comes from JJG Print 3D and the VBL from Ludocortorum, all 3D printed in 28mm (or 1/50 for the VBL).

Waiting for my next toy to come (a friend of mine printed it for me on his resin printer) :

The last members of the second combat group are done :

And the heavy sniping team too :

And the family picture of all the painted minis :

Those infantry are indeed nice.

But that old mechanic next to the armored car needs to update his tool set a bit...although in the army, we had a saying "If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!"... :D

lol lol lol
The best mechanics is the one with the biggest hammer, sir. Even in the french army !
Don't forget those vehicles (VAB, AMX10,...) are nearly 50 years old, and still work. Hammers and chewing gum make miracles...

We used duct tape and baling wire.   ;)

I know, it was for the joke.
A friend of mine made 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan before leaving the army, and what he said to us was this kind of things...
Now, they have better gear, but not at this time.
