Looking good! Nice subtle effect on the stripes. Is that a Le Mat revolver?

I have absolutely no idea what the gun is.

Being British I have rarely seen a gun so they fall into very broad categories as regards identification: pistol, machine gun, shotgun, rifle - that's about it 😁.

Fair enough, the Le Mat is interesting because it is a revolver with an additional shotgun barrel.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LeMat_Revolver

It is a bit of an obscure weapon so I am always curious if I see one sculpted on a figure.

Like that a lot, must see how I can stat the mini to have that capability - maybe silver buckshot for Werewolves and Vampires.

The first setting I'm working on is the Victorian streets of Jorvik (York) and I'm primarily using Dave Graffam papercraft either on card or foamcore, although the tower is a TT Combat Industrial Hive building with cardstock wall.

I'm contemplating a magnetic sheet in the bottom of buildings with removable roofs for miniature storage.

And finally, for now- The ‘O’ Department

The ‘O’ department deals with all matters related to the Occult, be it Vampires, Witches, Werewolves or Ghosts.

It is led by the eminent Vampirologist, Professor Bernard Ampleforth; a founding member of the department, Professor Ampleforth is one of the Worlds eminent authorities on Vampires and, despite his age, is a skilled Vampire hunter.

Started looking for vehicles for around the city, spotted these on ebay for £7 each (apparently they used to go for a quid in Poundland).

Bought a couple and thinking of building some Automaton drivers, and using them as Hansom Cabs as that fits the York connection, Joseph Hansom being from the city.

They are from the Golden Compass by Corgi.

Made my first foamcore building yesterday covered in Dave Graffam paper; still made the roof from card as I prefer the thinner look.

Plan is to use the inside of the buildings for storage of scatter terrain and miniatures - with magnetic sheets for the latter.

Was up early this morning so painted the third member of the 'O' Department - Jesse Moonwalker (Reaper minis) before the rest of the family stirred.

Jesse is a Werewolf from Indiana, USA. He had been turned at a young age and consequently shunned by his family and community, eventually being sold to a circus ran by a cadre of Vampires to become a major attraction at full moon fighting all manner of beasts.

The circus obtained a rare herb, Banefold, which allowed them to force Jesse to remain in werewolf form forever and fight every night; eventually resulting in the loss of an arm in a particularly violent confrontation with a Werebear.

On one summers evening in 1890 Professor Ampleforth and American colleagues waited for the show to end then destroyed the Vampire circus folk. Most of the acts were taken away but Jesse was so violent that the team wanted to destroy him out of hand.

Ampleforth would not hear it and marched into Jesse’s cage, started to give first aid and speak with the wolf-man.

This simple act of kindness created an unbreakable bond between the two, Jesse travelled with the Professor to Jorvik and was provided with a Tesla powered mechanical arm.

He now joins the Professor on all his excursions and is a common, if frightening, sight to the residents of Jorvik.
