A review of Perry Miniatures's 28mm plastic Austrian Napoleonic Hussars

A full decade after Victrix and Perry Miniatures introduced 28mm plastic Austrian Napoleonic infantry, Perry has introduced two boxed sets of 28mm plastic Austrian cavalry to go with them.

Thanks for the review, very interesting. If you are willing to do a little sawing up of horses you can add additional horse poses - one of the benefits of the interchangeable horse halves is that if, say, you cut up two different left horse halves and swap the front half of each over - you get two new horses...of course you have to be a bit careful so you don't get an unnatural pose but if you put the cut in the right place it's mostly concealed by the rider's legs so a little roughness in the making good doesn't matter too much.

They are fine figures. I'm currently reading John H. Gill's Thunder on the Danube, in which the hussars feature frequently.
