Here's another handsome addition to your collection of Golden Age airplane models. Well done.
I like your flight stands. Your idea of a Check Your Six campaign using your 1/72 models is interesting. I hope we'll see some AARs with photos when you start flying.
I'd also like to see what statistics you come up with for aircraft, so I can pinch them. The base CY6 rule set is optimized for WWII fighters. Few Golden Age planes have been rated for CY6, though I have found fan-created stat sheets for some Spanish Civil War and Sino-Japanese War planes.
I've noticed that the speed scale of the base CY6 rules, one hex of movement equals 80 miles per hour, is optimal for WWII fighters, but too fast for Golden Age planes. 1930s planes tend to have CY6 Level Speed 2, Dive Speed 3 (on a good day), and there isn't much you can do with a speed 2 fighter.
I've tried the fan-mod of shifting the speed scale to one hex = 80 kilometers per hour for SCW and SJW games, and I like the result a lot. Golden Age fighters are much more entertaining with speeds of 3 and 4. I will be interested to see how you mix Golden Age fighters with 1940s planes in your CY6 games.
