Bloody Miniatures next release (number 9) is now available in the Bloody webstore  8)

https://www.bloodyminiatures.co.uk/shop-1

Consisting of:

BM056: ‘These Our Captains’
Three bold commanders to serve as historical or fictional personalities of your choice. Cromwell? ‘Black Tom’ Fairfax? Waller or Hopton? You decide. These three mounted notables are generic enough to serve as any number of generals or colonels of the period, in the British Isles - or indeed the Rhineland, Low Countries or Bohemia.

BM057: ‘The Gentlemen At Arms’
A command party to serve with any of our mounted packs.
An officer in three-quarter armour and feathered hat; a cornet in burgonet, half armour and short tassets, and a trumpeter tootling his little heart out in a fancy lace-trimmed coat.

BM058: ‘The Bold Dragooners’
Classic mounted dragoons: short coats, broad brimmed hats, gaiters, bandoliers, firelock muskets. Mounted infantry like this did much of the dirty work in many a small and fierce English Civil War action.

BM059: ‘The Horse Pistols’
Pistol-armed troopers, lightly equipped in buff coats and lobster tailed pots.
Scouts or foragers perhaps. Or rear rank cavalry supporting their more heavily armed and equipped harquebusiers to the fore.

BM062: ‘They Also Serve’
A dismounted dragoon horse holder and three riderless mounts.
The stirrups and leathers come on a separate sprue, can be cut to length as desired, and glued into a cunning indentation down the flank of each horse. Alternatively, leave the leathers longer and bend them, so they can be thrown up over the saddle. (This practice avoided loose dangling stirrups getting tangled up - an eventuality that could prove fatal in a hasty scrambled remount and withdrawal).

There are also various deals available, including BM060: ‘A Sound of Trumpets’ and BM063: ‘A Dash of Dragoons’ :)

Marvellous figures. Those dragoons must be tough lads to wear coats in that colour.

Great Figures Richard. After all these Warriors, any chance for civilian stuff? I think they are missing in the most ranges of P&S. And some carts and camp stuff. It would be so great to fill the range with it.

Thank you Dirk. And for your order  :)

Yes, in addition to the existing ‘village people’, ‘gallant ladies’, and ‘witchfinder general’ packs (all civilians, although mostly armed and dangerous I do appreciate), I intend to do a set of camp followers at some point in a future release.
Not sure what else beyond that would be required? Happy to consider suggestions though.
I’d happily do a pack of buxom serving wenches* but just not sure they’d sell enough. Some people like those sorts of vignettes on the tabletop, but in my experience, most wargamers don’t tend to bother with them. There again, Bloody Miniatures customers tend not to be like most wargamers ;)

As far as carts go, there are an awful lot already out there - Perry do a magnificent variety of about seven different shapes and sizes of carts in their Wars of the Roses range. Not sure that a Bloody Miniatures cart or two would add much to what’s already available  :?

Absolutely superb figures, yet again.
The cornet is definitely my favourite. I'd still love some highlanders, but I do understand the figures need to pay for themselves.
Have you ever considered a Kickstarter? I'd definitely back a Bloody Miniatures Kickstarter and I'm sure many of your other customers would.

What about some tradesmen? A blacksmith, barkeep, butcher, carpenter, cobbler, farmer with a plow and oxen (venturing into vignette territory here...).

I would expand the list with: some naughty kids, gravedigger and robbers, nuns, priest and monks, prisoners, doctors, working people with cards, workers (doing earthwall with shovels and barrow).
Moi Capitan, btw: in your gallery you have some beautiful buildings. Do you remember the manufactorer???? My minis need a home or they would be homeless on the battlefield.
