Ordered the lot Richard, they look bloody brilliant. I would love to see a few more TYW character types, I.e The Last Valley springs to mind.

Now THAT'S how you launch a miniatures company; with beautifully painted minis, perfectly photographed.

Congratulations and good luck with the venture.

Congratulations Richard.
The miniatures are lovely and its a most welcome to this period.
Not only ECW and TYW but also the War of Independence of Portugal from Spain (1640-1668).
Small order done. ;)

Amazing miniatures, which is no surprise given they're sculpted by Nick Collier. I wish you good luck with your new venture!

Thank you very much everybody :)

There’s quite a bow wave of orders. Think I’m going to have to go straight back to Griffin for a restock! All being well, I’ll get everything out over the next two or three days.

It’s certainly alleviating the tedium of lockdown ;)

@Captain Blood - beautifully painted and I have a soft spot for Nick's work via TAG (as Renegade is defunct). Will these sit ok with TAG as the photo shows the TAG on a mound?

Thanks  :)

The interesting thing is that TAG TYW figures vary a fair bit in size. Some are almost Perry / Foundry ECW levels of diminutive, others are substantially bigger. But overall they are smaller than these new figures, yes.

Stylistically of course, they are a perfect match, being from the same sculptor. Whether you can live with the slight difference in size and stature is very much down to personal taste.

My ECW collection is 90% Bicorne and Renegade, but I’ve happily mixed in a good number of TAG figures, because for me, slight differences in size are very much less important visually, than major differences in style. But yes, I do double mount my TAG foot figures on an extra washer, which pops them up by about 2mm. Accounting for the ‘mound’ no doubt :)

Well that was the quickest I have ever moved from seeing to purchase.

They look wonderful (and so well painted).  Despite not planning to tackle my ECW pile for 3-4 more years I couldn't say no.

Congratulations on the new venture and I hope for many more.
