All are lovely additions Richard.

I can’t decide if my absolute favourites are the Night’s Watch or the Squire’s Men, as alongside their specialist roles you have devised, both would certainly add a lot of character to my musket units.

That's interesting as I really like the Moss Troopers. :)

My favourite pack is the Night Watch, but all the figures are great. Well done.

Indeed, although I’ve grouped them and designed them in these little themed vignette style groups, I fully expect most wargamers to simply sprinkle them through their existing collections in order to add some more character to rank and file units. That was always the main intent of the range to be honest :)

lol

You won’t regret it Phil. (Any more than I regret those 15mm Copplestones you encouraged me to get - you evil seducer you ;))

Not in the third release (already on the drawing board), but further down the line, certainly :)

Lovely looking figures and definitely on my ‘to buy’ list.
And the separate weapons pack is an excellent idea, I was just wishing for one yesterday as I contemplated my painting of the first release  - with luck I might get them finished before these come out!

Indeed. As Nick had already made all the components, I figured I might as well make them available for those that say they want them. Useful for vignettes and so on, or for conversions.

As you can see from the pics below, if nothing else, you can use them to equip The Forlorn Hope pack with something other than the polearms they come with.

The musket and fowling piece are a straight fit into the open hands of the figures, and with powder flasks attached to their belts.

The fellow brandishing his new sword and pistol did require a tiny bit of surgery – slicing off his left hand and rotating it through 90 degrees, before reattaching it to accept the pistol. And cutting off the hilt of his sheathed sword (made good with a tiny bit of Green Stuff). That’s it. Nothing too challenging :)

The 14-piece assorted weapons pack will include: Musket; carbine; fowling piece; pistol; two different powder flasks; four different mortuary swords (two unsheathed and two in their scabbards);  halberd; partisan; bill; spontoon.

Superb figures with lovely painting.  They look perfect for skirmishing, as each has definite period flavor and character.

Placed my first order for these wolves! I would like to know if there will be civilians planned in this range.

Gracias Juan. Posted today  :)

Yes, I plan to include a pack of ladies defending a siege and also a band of peasants / clubmen. These will be in release 4 all being well - so a little way down the line I’m afraid.

I’m probably not going to do any completely unarmed civilians / bystanders. I do appreciate they are nice for adding decorative character, but I am really focused on producing figures that wargamers can use as combatants within a game.

I am waiting for your second release to place my order for all the 8 packs and now you are talking about a third release!   :o :o :o

I really like the idea of armed civilians. Can´t wait to see those. I would also like more figures in "Dutch" 3/4 length coats. They work great for Swedes and Danes in the Wars of Karl X.

Any chance that you, as accessories, can add weapons with hands attached? I find that easier than fitting loose weapons.

Enough for me! My plan is to play skirmish games with FoL "Horse and Musket" so armed ladies and peasants are going to be very useful!
