Thanks lads :)

Lovely looking figures and set-up. Your figures are really transforming the utility of the Bicorne infantry in my opinion. Before you brought out your figures, I think the Bicorne infantry were best suited for big battles. With the addition of your figures they're now good for skirmishes as well.

Thanks Paul. In that case, mission accomplished! :)

Exceptional, and if the projections listed in your BM email come to fruition, I see another new period landing up on my painting table.

Looking at the last eat mail shot , waves 3 and 4 are going to be even more tempting than the first 2.

Also love the sketches by Brian Rigelsford. Just superb, and so evocative. Can’t help thinking there must be another avenue to bring his work to a wider audience.

I too love the sketches. Most are impractical for me as minis but as said they are evocative of the period. The Bloody minis are great too  :)

I love the sketches too. I seem to remember hearing that, when John Ray was building his amazing eighteenth century collection, he commissioned Brian to sketch figures for particular scenarios. John would take the sketches, decide which figures he wanted and then sculpt them himself. I wish I had the skill to do that. It must be amazing and you'd end up with something completely unique.

Meant to add these here... ::)

These are the first two packs from Release 3, which (all being well) will be ready for sale by the end of March.

‘The Looters’ - a band of disreputable soldiery laden with forage and the spoils of war. But still very much with their swords, pistols and muskets to hand.

And ‘The Militant Tendency’ - Ranters, Levellers, Diggers, Anabaptists, Fifth Monarchists, and more besides. This well-armed mob of assorted rabble-rousers are exhorting and imploring with their prayer books, polemics and political tracts.

I hope you’ll agree Nick has some conjured some amazing period character and detail into these new figures :)

And, hot off the press, the first figure from the third pack, 'Parliamentarian Characters'.

This fellow is a veteran New Model Army sergeant - well-thumbed pamphlet of psalms tucked into his hat band, a broad sash encircling his back-and-breast corselet, and clutching his trusty halberd close...
