I played SMF2 for the first time last weekend. Tons of fun! I'm looking forward to continuing the campaign.
I played solo and although I just purchased the
Athwart Time supplement, I decided to just play it with the normal rules. It played just fine with plenty of excitement and twists, especially with the subplot rules.
The randomly-generated scenario was "The Weapon", which the super-hero team "The Cabinet" was tasked to destroy, opposed by the villainous "Phantom Satellites" team.
Most miniatures are from Black Tree Design's Doctor Who range, with a couple of old Citadel Rogue Trader figures too. Oh and some 10mm figs for some shrunken heroes.
