Agis Marvel United minis

Agis:
I backed the KS, and not, and then again. Honestly there was no KS before where I changed my mind so often. I am a big Superhero fan, be it Marvel, DC or independent work. BUT - I really DISLIKE cute chibis... So it was tough for me to stick with the KS, in the end I went all in ...
Anyway - I was positively surprised! The rules are simple enough but also have enough depth for my taste. The minis are GREAT (for chibis) and are fun to paint. I started with Rocket and Kroot, not my best paint job but very fast, IIRC both in around 1h.
So expect more super cute minis from me... SIGH! ;)
One more thing, sometimes the pics are not showing in Edge, when using Safari it works for me. What always works is a look at my website (http://www.adpublishing.de/html/superheroes.html) or opening the pic in a separate window.
Agis:
1st Villain - the Red Skull:
And Falcon and the Wintersoldier (maybe because of a certain TV series...)
I played the 1st game also - we had a blast, great mechanics, simpe to learn but also a very nice replay value. I am hooked.

more cuties...
Captain America
Iron Man
Mockingbird, Black Widow and Nick Fury
Ultron, super fast paint job, primed black, then metal. After that some drybrush and the red details, glossy varnish, done.

Whitewolf:
Completely agree. I too typically can't tolerate Chibis but CMON really captured the essence of the characters. And unlike Marvel Crisis Protocol, the minis aren't a veritable fortune and are not based on ridiculous stands in cumbersome poses. Certainly the games themselves are fundamentally different and require different types of miniatures. For me it's refreshing to see something different in figures other than Heroclix, Knight Models, and Marvel Crisis Protocol. YMMV.
