I received the models with the supports have already been removed so it would just be 99% alcohol and then soap and water?

If the supports are already removed, I would assume they were already washed in alcohol and cured? If yes, only soap and water is needed. If not, than first alcohol wash, than curing and soap and water.

I really don't know. I'll have to contact the chao who sent me the models and ask.

That's the plan Tohhel. Thanks for the input- appreciated :)

The bishop is absolutely mega and your print is the business.

Has he got anything marking him out as a bishop apart from the crucifix?  I fancy he might work as a generic lord.

I don't think so, the only thing I can think off that he maybe is more suited for mid to late 12th century instead of late 11th century because of the surcoat, but I am still going to use him for my 11th century retinue.  ;)

Hello,

My first unit for the Barons' War ruleset is finished (kinda :D).
Currently their Dark Ages supplement isn't released yet, when it's released I will base it on the Norman armylist.

This is a guard unit. So imo well equiped spearmen with a command group.

For the command group I used the veteran sergeant stats and his equipment is mail, sword and large shield + pennant and priest upgrade. (The priest isn't finished yet, currently I am painting a Footsore late Saxon priest who will be added until Caballero miniatures releases a suitable miniature. ;))

For the guard unit I use the foot sergeants rules and they are equiped with mail, spear and large shield.

For the unit the veteran sergeant represents a dismounted Caballero Villanos.

The shields are Victrix shield from their Saxon set.

Hello,

I finally finished a second unit of spearmen and a lonely knight. These are unarmoured and equiped with spear and round shield (medium shield). The knight is equiped with mail, kite shiel (large shield), spear and sword.

I am still planning to use them with the Barons' War ruleset.

Thank you Atheling!

Update:

I was lucky to do a test print for a priest that will be part of the november release. I printed him two times. In his right hand he holds the corss of Pelagius.
I painted both with simultaneously with the same colours. The difference is that for the left one I used a stippling method (first time) and the right one I painted  as I always paint. It was fun to do. I really like this mini!

The first picture is a bit unsharp, but the second is sharp.

I also finished another knight, I am not happy with the shield. It needs some extra layers, so it looks a bit smoother. So that needs some retouching eventually.  :D

More beautiful work Tonhel  :-* :-* :-*

BTW, James Morris and co are putting on a Reconquista 11th CE game at Partizan today so something to watch out for as I have no doubt it will be a sight to behold.

I couldn't make it so I'm very eager to see the pictures of the game.

It will be a good one and from what I've heard/seen it seems to work with Mythological games as well as Historical.
