Do you have enough Tamiya Clear Red stocked?  ;D

Everyone keeps saying that, but I’m really not sure I’ll need that much...it’s not the Texas Chainsaw massacre  ;) lol

Totally agree! But I'd rather see the fully dressed up shot with troops and stuff representing a bloody battlefield. Its a shame we are only going to get shots with plain backgrounds first! :(

You will just have to vote for it, so I get through to the final....or wait until after the BSC is over I guess  lol

The least exciting update in the history of updates....added a bit of sand to blend everything together and provide some more texture.

No more photos as I’ve started painting ... well ... mostly holding my head in my hands whilst muttering “what have I done” ... but you get the idea.

Another incredibly detailed set of terrain.  Gruesome but very well done.

Getting excited & making jokes about dropping Nepalm on little Asian Children in a Viet' village doesn't make it ok just because 'it's wargaming & not real'. You wanker scum need to look again at the real photographic horror of such chemical weapons. Seriously Disgusting mind set amongst some you.

Now that the BSC has finished, I can add a few more photos with some paint splashed on.

An aerial shot before winter arrives.  Shows the pathways through the detritus, where figures can be placed.

This is pre-gore...I used TCR..Tamiya Clear Red with a bit of black mixed in. Tried not to overdo the gore as I figured that most would seep into the ground, so no rivers of blood...sorry  :D

“winter is coming”

This was the setup for the final photo...I’m not a great photographer, and all I’ve got is a battered old iPhone, so the pictures were quite tricky tbh. Normally I’d obviously focus upon the figures, and the terrain would be a comforting blur in the background, but given it’s a terrain competition, the roles were reversed its time.

Game of Thrones fans will hopefully recognise the picture as a homage to the “Battle of the Bastards”... IMHO the best battle scene of GoT, and one of the most gritty I can recall viewing on TV/in a film.

For non-GoT fans, the hero and his followers have been partially surrounded, and pressed back against a wall of corpses...as some try to escape the approaching wall of spears they try to find a way through the corpses, only to be attacked by more of the enemy. To get the right feel, I used something like 200-250 figures

...and of course, the final photo
