Paasche Airbrush Stand
« on: April 08, 2021, 12:39:04 AM »

I got out my Paasche HO414 yesterday, something I seldom do because I don't use it much. It's a single-action external-mix airbrush, and it's little better than a small spray gun really. However, one advantage that external-mix brushes have is that they can push through thicker, heavier paints, and so this airbrush is good for spraying varnish or thinned PVA for terrain-making. It's also good for laying down large areas of paint.

Anyway, I thought I might make a 3d-printable stand for it. So I did.

I've put the STL up at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4819867 — there are a bunch of stands for other models of airbrush in my collection as well.

Fourteen hours of printing later (plus a couple more because I slept in), here's the actual physical result. It works.

I don't know why I decided to go for the Flintstones aesthetic, but I did. Yabba-dabba-doooo.
