Late War British for CoC - update 25/04/21
« on: April 17, 2021, 09:26:03 AM »
Despite being a painter, the CoC rules and some great AARs here and elsewhere (I'm looking at you Tactical Painter) are drawing me back to gaming. While I'd rather have gone with 20mm and may yet the local clubs play at 28mm and so I'll start with a platoon of the gorgeous Empress Miniatures.

The first two figures have already been stripped back to bare metal as I wasn't happy with my colour choices (windproof smock) and so for this one I gave the jerkin a go and am happy with what colours I'm now using.

He’s come out rather well!

His pose makes him appear to be looking at the PIAT in a ‘what does this do?’ way

I was thinking he just picked it up and was saying to himself..." Now I wonder why someone threw this away?"

You're all close, but no ceegar!
That superbly painted little man is actually thinking...

"Cripes! This 'ere fookin' contraption must have been invented by a German secret agent!"

:o
"Wot did you do in the war Grandad?"

"I was with Harry... At The Bridge!"

If you want to buy a PIAT to go with yer jerkin, I know a very nice man who's got one.

Cheers all for the kind words. As for the PIAT gunner -

A few more jerkins complete, but I'm struggling to take decent photos today for some reason.

Some windproof smocks next
