Wow.  Those Tuaregs are painfully beautiful figures.  They cry out to be used for refights of every raid, skirmish, and the grand finale assault on the fortified town in THE WIND AND THE LION.  Sigh.  As my wise friend JBaumal says, I must resist.......

Finally, Arab-Berber cavalry to fight the French Foreign Legion is now available in preorder, shipments will be done from August 1st! The range include so far 7 codes (21 different miniatures), and the premium collection (one of each code) come with a free exclusive miniature, Shariff al-Raisuni from "The Wind and the Lion".

The whole range can be used to represent Arab/Berbers, but we wanted to do a couple of codes to bareheaded Berbers to show traditional hairstyles, when they still use pigtails.

Well, we don't game this specific period, but dang, these 1898 figures are very well done.  We are tinkering with creating convention scenarios from the battle scenes from The Wind and the Lion, so maybe we'll need to look closer at these figs - especially the chap that looks like Raisuli...
