But 'Greensleeves' means they've run out!  :'(

Doesn't it....?  :o

I did feel a bit sorry for my pair after sending them off on a couple of fruitless quests. In our old place, the odd acoustics of living slap bang against a creek and at the bottom of a dip meant the sound coming from some distance away and across the raging torrent/ stagnant pool. Now we are on a major road in a bit more 'stabby' part of the world so I suspect that training will go to waste. On the other hand, the time spent teaching my daughter the rudiments of bayonet fighting may come in handy.

Now that he has the ice cream van hopefully Akky will include the boys from the KLF. Tammy Wynette optional.  :D

So cool, and that's not just the ice cream. Over here we had the Popeye the sailor man theme, and that's what came to mind when I saw the pic  :D
This thread a spectacle, but the ice cream truck takes the cake.

Did your dad tell you that 'Popeye the Sailor-Man' meant they'd run out of ice-cream...?

Our ice-cream vans always had 'Watch For Children' written in large letters across the back.  Another crushing childhood disappointment, as no matter how many lollies I bought, they never gave me a watch!  :-[

Lovely little ice cream truck there.

Mind you, it could be used as a mobile covert source of black market stuff after the balloon goes up (and comes down).  "Yes, I'll have an AK and 100 rounds of ammo to go, please!"  :D

Quite possibly. It being the 1980s you get that weird, soft porn, ad with the girl and the gypsy wagon as a er….. ‘bonus’.

Spose it could be worse, there’s that one with the bint doing the watercolours. Ah 1980s advertising, where the leit motif was often oral sex. ::)

As my thread is in danger of disappearing down another entertaining rabbit hole, time for another miniature  lol

Toying with an “Eagle has Landed” type scenario, and the following conversion seems to fit the bill.

The torso is from a Space Vixens From Mars mini, with a green stuffed handbag, and the head is borrowed from a Brigade Games Apoc mini (I have another to paint toting a Bren gun).

Nice conversion but I would have preferred the figure sans head.  ;)

Still, hats off, she lasted longer than a lettuce.
