Not a lot of progress in the last week or two…been away for work, and then came down with the lurgy. The latest addition is for the growing convoy of refugee/survivor vehicles - a diecast, with a bunch of stowage from my bits box.

Group shot of the vans (also have a few “specials” such as the bus and the ice cream van)

Vehicles are fun to do, but of course I also need plenty of extra survivor/refugee types on foot… Plenty in the painting queue, but I’ll also be repurposing some figures from previous projects.

The following is a good example - an APEX investigator from Fenris Games

Great work on that VW bus.  Well done!

Looking good!
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Lovely work. I agree that vehicles are fun to do and they certainly enhance game tables. I'm currently enjoying distressing 1950s vehicles for my Zona Albion project.

Thanks everyone, having plenty of fun with this project…trouble is the ideas keep spiralling out of control  lol

Apart from more British Armed Forces, more Soviets, I’m going to continue to build up the civilian authorities, and of course a whole bunch of refugees/survivors.

Thinking of bulking out the police to form a PSU - Police Support Unit  :)

I don't think anyone is surprised by that.  ;)

Yep, this thread even encouraged me to branch off and make a selection of 'Winter of '79' style insurgents myself. A distraction I really didn't need. :)
