This morning I have just finished painting and rigging this model Xebec from Iain Lovecrafts Pirates vs Cthulhu. It's mainly 3D printed, apart from sails, shroud plates, fairleads, cleats etc which I made from tissue paper and MDF. They are fast, very maneuverable, lots of deck space, five pairs of cannon, shallow draft and designed to be rowed as well as sailed.
As it's a wargames rather than a display model, the rigging is very simplified.
The sails are made from Japanese tissue paper and the rigging from 1mm diameter elastic cord.
I've written an article for my hobby blog with lots more photos and details.
