Some really nice conversions. Well done.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Some lovely green-stuff work there. The dwarf force is a great collection of minis, and look good up against those dragons.

I don’t like the dwarves’ odds against those dragons, but the miniatures and photography are beautiful! Thanks for sharing the work-in-progress photos, too, it is always good to see how the magic is done.

10 from 13 survived the reconquest of the lonely mountain and some of them tried to "redwarf" Moria again...
I wanted my "Balins Reconquista" to look in some way dark age inspired to seperate them from the glory past of the dwarven kingdoms. I based all models on the dwarven rangers (as well as Thorin&Co.) to get the look of some wandering dwarves on the march. I mixed them up with GrippigBeast-Viking-Bits for the northern flair:

Balin and Floí:

The "Hearthguard", played as Iron Guard:

Archers with twohanded axes:

Rangers with throwing axes and twohanded axes:

Mission markers:

I love it!

I used a lot of the dwarf rangers in my own dwarf army, but never thought of swapping in dark ages heads and sculpting mail on to convert them into armoured warriors. Your conversions turned out great!

Wonderful conversions - hardly recognised them for what they originally were.

A great looking warband too. Plenty of different troop types to make it more versatile and fun to play. Lovely work.
