That's a genuinely marvellous little layout. :-* :-*

Is the signal box scratch built or is that the Peco O gauge model?
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Marvellous work me 'ol mucker. :-*

Am I right in thinking the fighting around the railway yard in the book is in the Surbiton/Kingston area?
Don't!

If I remember correctly it's towards the end of the book and it's Surbiton station where the 'hero' finds himself. I'm fairly sure I know which villa he hides in as well as I used to get the bus past it  lol

It's a lovely little double gable front. Early Georgian by the look of it and ripe for a model making of it  :D

I've now read the whole thread and can only echo what others have said: beautiful work.

Thanks  :)

I've got some cavalry primed and ready to go but they probably won't get done for a while yet.
