my painted hybrids for strange aeons
« on: September 08, 2009, 04:12:47 PM »
Hi Chaps,

Inspired by Uncle mike's new stats for hybrids i dug out some old 'metal magic' deep one hybrids, ( now sold by Em-4 miniatures) and painted them up,

three hybrids trying to look inconspicuous, they'll be doing the bidding of my strange aeons fishmen very soon  :)

regards

jim

I am not a huge fan of these models, but your paint-job absolutely improves them. Must be a dark and foggy night in Innsmouth for these guys to get around looking as green around the gills as they do  lol

yup, they do show their age a bit, they are much smaller than current figures and the style of sculpting is very old fashioned, but i find they have a charm of their own,

There are some real gems in the Em-4 cthulhu range. I have these figures in my unpainted pile and I think they're pretty nice... true a tad small by current standards but great poses.
