The night was very bad: towards two o’clock delirium became evident, and was accompanied by nervous contractions. Twice I thought I distinguished the unconnected words, France – armée, tête d’armée – Josephine….

200 years after the death of the emperor, I combined sources to recall his last days. Even immortals die.

As amateur historian the story of Napoleon The Sick is a sad story, but you still see a shadow of Napoleon The Great.
