6mm Forvarsmakten and Brits!

Wanted to do something unusual and decided to start building a few Armies that don't pop up so much in Modern wargames so went with Sweden and Turkey.

Also there is a shot of the first Brits, who I've left in basic Green as we're a bit boring now Camo wise, the recent Defence review also made half the army I've yet to do redundant, but as the campaign I'm planning is veering towards a world going mental, it doesn't matter (we also have a habit of reviving all the Grandad kit last minute).

Always great to see a bit of 6mm! Are these H&R?

These are really nice; camo is looking great too.

I'm working on 80's Swedes atm and I can vouch for how difficult and laborious it is

Thanks chaps. And yeah getting Camo right is a pain, probably should be thankful when units are just green  .

They're all GHQ! Although I'm looking to get some H&R as they have some units GHQ have yet to do for the Swedes

GHQ are beautiful, but very expensive. The latest H&R models are much cheaper and very good. IMHO much better value-for-money. The older H&R stuff ranges from dodgy to OK.

Yes H&R are certainly mixed in terms of quality, they were also a few MMs smaller than GHQ as H&R is true 6mm whereas GHQ is more like 8mm. I'm not sure if H&Rs latest are now same size as GHQ but I'll be finding out next month!

Also GHQ are incredibly expensive, I remember when they were £7 a pack! That being said I keep Units at maximum to about 10 vehicles and never needing more than a pack for support, Arty etc so although armies are still pretty expensive, its manageable in Moderns (if it was WW2 or Arab-Israeli it'd probably be quite painful!).
