Wow; that's really, really nineties stuff!

I thought I was already toeing the line with my guilty pleasure Warzone, but this... lol I applaud the effort to re-issue original nineties miniatures, but man; those are gaudy.

Good to hear that they have already way surpassed their funding goal though :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks, they are definitely an acquired taste and we have some great and loyal fans still playing. I am working at updating the minis for the 3rd edition and that is coming along very well.

To be fair, if you paint them in more restrained colors they don't have to look garish - and they were originally out around the time that GW was doing the "Circus Clown" paint schemes in the Tyranids codex, so a product of the times.

I am pleasantly surprised there's so much nostalgia for the game, but maybe I shouldn't be.  As I recall it got quite a lot of interest from people who'd loved Space Hulk and Siege of the Citadel back then.

Thank you. Yes the coloring back then was pretty over the top. THe picture is of one painted over 25 years ago. We have some painted in a more military tone as well.
