Mierce had a sale on some of their big models.  I could not resist as I have been eyeing this one up for a while but the price always put me off.  It was painted almost exclusively with thin washes set down in layers with minimal highlighting.  Used all of the supplied branches to add more roots to the arms and legs.  Added a small tree and a few mushrooms.  Used lots of vegetation on top.  Set on a 70mm base.



He was mostly for fun but I will also use him for ROSD or Frostgrave.

That is a lovely figure - a menacing, brooding creature of the forest about to unleash merry hell on those that profane the sanctity of the woods. Love it.

Long time favorite over here as well. Good pj. Eventually I will order one too, but the problem with Mierce is, where to start ordering and, even worse, when to stop.   
Atm they got some bears in the preorder at a hefty discount. I'm resisting, so far - got a soft spot for everything bearlike - but (wo)man, are those models nice...
