Medieval Ogres
« on: May 17, 2021, 07:27:00 PM »
Northstar has two great ogre minis dressed in medieval garb. Any idea of another manufacturer that has similar ogres? I'd like 2-3 more. Specifically with this sort of medieval look, not just fantasy. Thanks

I read on here that Wargames Atlantic are releasing a box of Landschnekt ogres.

The Foundry Ogres are dressed in Renaissance get-up aren't they? Do they still do them or are they discontinued? Actually I might be thinking of Marauder - there's a few on eBay, but they're a little pricey.

These are the Foundry ones. They straddle the orc/ogre divide, but they'd look pretty ogrish if they weren't green:

They're also a little more Renaissance-era than I'm looking for atm.

If you're willing to wait a little, Oathmark will be getting a plastic set of Ogres - I'd imagine they wouldn't be a million miles away from this in aesthetic given they've the same sculptor?

Landsshrek, they call them.

Got the one pictured with club. Great sculpt, can be painted either as a neutral or slightly evil Ogre... There's a 3rd one not pictured here in metal, with some kinda punky Mohawk hairdress.
But yeah, we'll see what Nick will release in plastic. Never in my life have I refused an Ogre entry to my house  lol.

These guys look great.  I love the medieval garb as it makes them look like "regular guys".  :)

Knightmare Miniatures has this one, which I've been planning to combine with the 2 you've shown.
