Aztec shield designs

Hi

Does anyone know if the various Aztec warrior classes (eg Jaguar & Eagle warriors or Shorn ones) had standard shield designs within the unit or was it upto the choice if the individual warrior?

I've done a brief look on the Internet and in my limited Aztec books but can't seen to find anything.
