Kingsford miniatures compatibility !?
« on: May 21, 2021, 10:08:25 AM »
Hi

Do you think Kingsford Miniatures' "Sengoku Jidai" range is compatible in size and size with Perry Miniatures / Old Glory etc ...?

The Kingsford Figures are well fed, but still acceptable oin comparison with Perrys (I have no OG figures). Perry Figs in the middle.

And something to remember is that some rookie samurais in Sengoku armies could be as young as 16, and many ashigaru weren't as well-fed as their samurai masters and would be of shorter stature anyway.

There is a bit of scale creep within the range itself. The Ronin types and Sohei types are quite a bit larger in stature than the Ashigaru. It IS noticeable, but if you're not concerned with that type of thing, it's not off putting.
