Gives a nice shade to the skin without being too dark.

Just gave them an ink wash then highlighted with leather brown from the pot this time.

80 hours over two months start to finish.
Basing took longer than I expected, but worth it.

I fear I’ve created a monster by using 4 elephants, probably would be better if I took 3 elephants and slightly more imitation legionaries.
I’ve got the spare figures, but I’m starting my African Vandal army for now.

I cannot express enough how much I like these figures from Victrix.

At some point I’ll probably make a Spanish bodyguard and more imitation legionaries.
