Vadim, a Reiver with a light sabre, converted from a HF fantasy figure:

The Grymm are most excellent troops and really well painted, but it’s that strange horror of the Reivers which leaves me speechless

That’s great to hear. They are very much influenced by:

• Serenity = Reavers
• Ghosts of Mars = Infected Miners
• Resident Evil: Extinction, etc  = Various

Plus, no doubt, a shed-load of other movie influences that I’ve forgotten about

I’ve now statted-up my two forces for a first game. It does look like there’s a lot of info on the cards but that’s only because I’ve copied over the special rules, etc to avoid having to look them up mid game.

Thanks for the explanation and stats! Serenity Reavers are a vastly underused thing in SF wargaming - the panic and horror hitting the population facing a Reaver attack are great moments in the show. Sadly a lot about them was never explained…why and how do they steer space ships etc. Your mixture of different sources also suits them fine. Brilliant enemy faction if you ask me. Great 👍!
