That terrain looks like it works really well with this rules set.  Could maybe do with a little difficult terrain (junk piles, suspicious goo, etc) here and there so the powers that interact with it mean something.

Sounds like you had a fun game.  I was kind of surprised at how different it feels to Frostgrave (or at least 2nd ed, where you can't have 10 freaking bowmen) due to the dominance of shooting over melee.  Grenades really change the dynamics too, makes it harder to safely activate soldiers with your officers since the required spacing is vulnerable to things that go BOOM.

Thanks Rich, you are right with the terrain, we just did a set up to take a spin with the rules. I agree with the different feel to Frostgrave and the grenade is a dangerous weapon for the reason you indicate, overall good impression see how it develops.

Great stuff. Where did you get the terrain? It looks FANTASTIC!! The lad did a great job painting his figures. Yellow is a very difficult colour to paint and he did a great job.
