1940 Desert Game - Op Compass - Bringing Home the Pasta

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2021/10/op-compass-game-10-bringing-home-pasta.html

Its a long time since I've written a game up. Full Scenario and AAR of our latest WW2 Desert Op Compass Campaign is available to view on the link above. This is game 10 of 23.

In this episode the front line Italian Forts have fallen and the last of the support troops, including the Chef and his all important kitchen team are heading to Bardia from Fort Capuzzo.

The Italian Commander at Bardia doesn't want to lose his supplies and sent an armoured force to escort them back to the new lines.

The British on the other hand are not sleeping and have sent some of their Cruiser Tanks in a hook move to cut the Road.

I've included everything you need to replay the game as well as a write up about how we got on.

Lovely looking game and a great write up.

So pleased you're getting value out of the Op Compass scenario pack: inspires me to start another!

If that's yourself Robert, I can't thank you enough for such a great book full of such great detail.

For the price we have got years of gaming out of it. We don't even use IABSM as a rule set.

We have done 10 of the 23 Scenarios and I see no reason why we won't do them all, at an average of 4 games a year (now we are out of lockdown) that gives you about 3 years too get a new book outb ;)

There's a link to purchase the book on the Resource Page for our campaign and I encourage everyone to get a copy even if it's just for reference.

All the best Ken

It is, and thank you!

And just think, after Compass, you've got the Far East, Calais, Anzio and Sicily to do!   :o

We’ve played about half the Calais and a quarter of the Lion Gate ones. Great games all
