Roy's 7ombieTV Thread - 28mm Zombie Gaming WIP
« on: June 14, 2021, 02:37:42 PM »
As mentioned in my first post - "Hallo the forum" - I'm planning on, finally, getting my [Crooked Dice] 7ombieTV project started. To that end I've been up in the attic, pulled out an assortment of bits and pieces and am setting to, this afternoon, attacking them with soap and water (the metal miniatures at least) so I can make a start.

Plan so far is, to have two survivors - a Star and an "Also Starring" Extra, which will cost me 77pts using a combination of the casting ratings cost from 7ombieTV and 7TV 1st Edition - and, when taking into account the suggested +25% points allocation to the AI Zombie cast when playing solo, 96pts worth of Zombies. That's 19 zombie extras to you and me, at 5pts each.

Image shows:

. 4Ground church and tombstones [Old West range].
. Blotz church furniture.
. Ainsty Castings tombstones.
. Studio Miniatures survivor, with added CP Models backpack.
. Crooked Dice savage school girl.
. CP Models zombies.
. North Star Figurines 'ACW' zombie.

I'll be using a 3'x3' gaming mat and some additional bits and pieces of terrain, such as trees and hedges by The Last Valley.

I've counted that I've a total of 28 gravestones between the packs of 4Ground MDF and Ainsty resins, so I've my eye on TTCombat's MDF graveyard & cemetery set or their resin gravestones to add my scatter terrain for the gaming area. To give a gaming mission for the survivors, I might get a Land Rover model from Crooked Dice and then the duo can search inside the church - once they've safely reached it - for the car keys.

Hopefully there should be another post, updating my progress on this project, in the next few days.

Comments welcome, should anyone wish.
Roy

Sounds like your off to a great start. I would like to see what you have set up after all is done.

It has been a while since I played 7ombieTV, but I liked the game dynamics very much. Especially that you literally have luck (counters) that runs out.

Looking forward to seeing how your project develops.

T.
