28mm Greek actor?
« on: May 24, 2021, 04:31:29 PM »

Does anyone know of a 28mm Greek actor, or a figure wearing/holding an actor's mask? Or is this going to have to be a conversion and greenstuff job...?

OOOOOoooooohhhhhh. A bit more Palpatine than I was going for - but he could well work.

Thank you!

Socrates looks weird, out of proportion I think. Nicely painted though.

Very interesting topic indeed. I think the Socrates looks fine, if maybe a little narrowly hipped. :D

I wonder if there are m/any Greek civilians (as opposed to Roman civilians) in 28mm that could be converted? The Sokrates is not bad, but not quite what I was after. The Gang's of Rome Agent is, I feel, just a bit too cloaky/Palpatine.

This is for a character in a Dionysiac/Bacchae themed army, so I'd like a bit of 'animation' to the pose if possible.

Begging AND choosing!  ;D

In addition to the fantasy range Wargames Foundry makes over a dozen sets of ancient civilians.   Some of which might do though masks may need to be made.

There is this thread on The Miniatures Page with links to various manufacturers http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=513142
