My Ship Has Come In
« on: June 19, 2021, 03:49:04 AM »
I had to celebrate the arrival of my junk from the hands of the master craftsman Tin Shed Gamer. The first junk, the Clever Duck Wan, foundered on the reefs of the Guam postal system and was lost with all hands. Here are pictures of its arrival at the port of Amoy.

But wait! Is that Fu Manchu and the Beast of Bukhara meeting the vessel? What can this portend?
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Lovely ship!

I'm propper chuffed this one made it.More importantly it fits in with the rest of your scenery.(Which by the way is inspiring me to build a dockyard / harbour .)
Quite a fun challenge to make something in five parts that is to work for more than three centuries.( did you find the funnel ?)

Out curiosity does the other item in the box fit?

Mark

There’s a joke to be had about posting pictures of your junk on the internet but I’m not sure I want to fully go there.   :D

Great boat, port and story hook though. I definitely do want to know what the meeting portends!

Thank you all! Mark did sterling work as you can plainly see. Mark all came through safely though you would never have guessed it from the condition of the outer box! My rail line will be one of my next projects.
