Way too hard to only vote for one.  Impressive builds that obviously all took a lot of care and time.  :-*

Bravo! Fivefold...

What a great set of entries, and immediately some darn hard choices to make.
Congrats to all five of you for your wonderful work!  8)

I just looked at the title and saw my name next to Akula's and said game over.  Everyone did a great job and Akula, just wow.  Can't wait to see some close up shots.

Oh behave Snitchy...that will put the kiss of death on me for sure  lol

Honestly, I’m amazed by how many different ways LAF’ers have interpreted the theme this year - looking forward to more closeups of everything

More excellent builds!
Codsticker: Yours actually looks like a wholesome and pleasant scene (unlike some of the entries in this group!) and the shallow muddy water is particularly well done. In keeping with the theme it does not look impassable, but will certainly inconvience figures trying to get across.
Marian's Gamer: A lovely selection of exotic foliage (although looking at the background of where the photo was taken perhaps they are not so exotic for you!).
AKULA: great modelling, and your paint job is excellent, and admirably restrained (it must have been tempting to ramp up the gore!).
Snitchy the dog: These are really effective and adding the paint and flock has really made them come alive. It is really interesting to see narrow waterways like this modelled, normally on wargames tables I see if it does not need a bridge or a ford to cross it it is not worth doing!
Will Bailie: Such a large an impressive build, a whole battlefield! I love the fact it is based on a real place. I look forward to seeing battle reports featuring this board on the forum!
Great work all!

Nice ones guys! Very inspiational! 8)

Codsticker- thats a great swamp. I know its meant for medieval games, but that could easily double for some great Serengeti located games.

Marianas gamer- with those real trees as a background for your picture, your rough jungle is starting to look quite real!

Akula- what can I say...masterclass!  :-*

Snitchy the Dog- brilliant ground work! 8)

Willbailie- there will be some good games across that. Any plans for a bridge?

Good luck boys and girls!

Thanks!  Yes, there is a bridge, I left it off as it is from a kit.  In a reverse to the real world, I built the terrain to match the bridge span, rather than build the bridge to match the gap!
