I love the idea - look forward to watching your progress.

Funnily enough just picked up some of those refugee minis as well...lots of uses for them.

I love the idea for your series of games - very atmospheric! I am looking for an idea for something to run as a skirmish campaign or series of games for our group of 7 players or so. That's a great idea...  :-*

Agreed AKULA. Actually, they don't look like typical, generic civilians. Each one of them has LOADS of character and some may even make it into some of my games as actual character instead of background fodder.

I belive the sacks are Reaper, in bones not metal. I got them off eBay. They are very affordable.

Thanks Lon. Appreciated.  :D

Next up is the village vet, with his trusty sidekick, Ned the Goat. Ned has a robotic hind leg strapped to him. Perfect for thrusting into a damaging head butt, or a nasty back kick.

The goat mini is from Stonehaven Miniatures.

Thanks Cod. I'm not the world's fastest painter, but so far these are proving a real treat to paint so that helps with the mojo. Which many of you will remember I lost a while back.

Lovely figures, the subtle shading on the faces really sets them off. The new 'old wood' technique worked out nicely too.

Love that goat. Does he come like that, with the prosthetic limb? Is he a pirate?  :)

Thanks Dyl. He comes like that. That was what sorta made me think "I need THAT".

Is that another one of Mark's sculpts or is it from something else?

No it's from Stonehaven Miniatures. But.... it does fit in well with his stuff, character wise.
