(commercial) Grim Fantasy rules relese
« on: July 05, 2021, 08:44:43 PM »
G’day once again from Dungeon central,

Today sees the anticipated release of the 15mm Grim Fantasy rules. These rules have been 18 months in the making with a small team of Slaves working tirelessly at testing and trialing different ideas to create what we believe to be a unique set of rules, and our best rules release to date.

The rules have been released via Wargames Vault and can be found here: https://www.wargamevault.com/product/362995/Grim-Fantasy

The game of Grim Fantasy is a fantasy skirmish wargame between two or more players, with games of up to four players working quite well. The game is set in a dark fairy-tale world that is inspired by European lore as transported to colonies in a New World. It is designed to be played with the Slave 2 Gaming 15mm range of figures, but any scale or range can be used with modifications.

Quick synopsis:

Set in the Village of Armbraid, the Pilgrims that have come from the Old Word are discovering that their new home is not as safe as they thought it would be. Creatures from the Great Woods raid their small village, wreaking havoc when they come.
Nearby are the Natives are friendly, but wary. Some say that they know the land and what it can do.
The land appears to be strange and changes both people and objects, some say that even the Scarecrows move around at night...

There have been a few people who have really contributed to this game and must be thanked. Ross Franks for his Graphic design work and hours of playtesting, Dave Dingelstad for his editing and patience in this, and both Mike Broadbent and Anton Ducrot for their sculpting of such an amazing range.

Most of the figures in these rules have already been released and can be found at our store, however the range will continue to grow, and new figures will be added to the Grim Fantasy range.  Check them out here www.slave2gaming.com and share the word, help this game grow.

Some nice figures there, but the postage to the UK
would be heavy!  Do you have a UK agent?

has.been, unfortunately postage to the UK isn't cheap, at around AU$25 for 500 grams (not including any tax at your end). Bare in mind though, a pack of 4 Grim Fantasy figures is about 40 - 50 grams, so you can get a lot for your money.

We do plan to try to get a distributor in the UK and will be looking further into this in the coming months, however our success at getting replies hasn't great.

Good luck in getting a UK agent.
If you succeed please post the
good news on LAF.
