It's about 160 miniatures in the order! We passed the halfway mark now though thank gosh. hehe. Next is some stuff for someone on the forum and then some Ice and fire stuff for an old client, then some DnD characters for an old friend and also some cool stumpy samurai for another.

Been really getting back into the mood after Christmas and these barbarians nearly broke me (decided too use as little dry brushing as possible and because they're 90's games workshop style, or early 2000's, they just have such intense proportions and details. Anyhow, despite the seemingly low key finish I think they look lush and I'm dead proud.)

They do look great! I like the beholder and the ghosts/specters, too. The deep dark in the hoods worked very well.

Cheers bud, the deep black was a last-second decision but with such limited details the "abyss" inside the hood does give them a more erie effect. There is a bit more going on with them color gradient wise in the greys but the photo washes them out a bit.

Another lover of that snake here. I also like the face colour you chose for the manticor. It gives it an even more bestial feel to it. Like it is trying to look human but overdoing it. Well done.

Thanks everyone :)
Another update, these where very fun, working with a "harmonic" palette of greens and browns.

Also a little shot of the whole commission so far. Not a fancy shot but definitely pretty cool. I often think I prefer one type of commission over another but big orders are just as satisfying as little ones.

Hey all. Had to prioritise some smaller orders again so am back on this order for the final leg. Just a few infantry models and then two giant devil dudes and anothe chaos spawn type monster. Have been trying to get my photography down again, it's always something that aludes me. I think the issue I have is that I photograph on two different white layouts, but anyway I hope y'all like these :)

Those blues are great for taking the GW LOTR figures in a fresh direction.
