Much better than the last two years but room for improvement I thought.
My day at the show is here:

I must say it was cetainly busier than last year and you made a hell of a lot more than me on the bring and buy  :D

I took my camera but didn't really see anything that shouted out 'WOW', there were good games there but nothing to inspire that I haven't seen before, and I do have a paticular eye (and a preference for a paticular type of game). This not being a detrimental comment on the games that were displayed of course  :) I know how much work that goes into sorting them out.

You might want to edit that picture, mate... The wee tank on the right is showing a bad thing.

Otherwise, great report, thank you!

Nice show review.
Looking forward to a review of the sable brushes you buy. What brand are they by the way?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

The sign next to the game said 1943, I don't think they're that bothered though, could just as easily be 1941.

I got my brushes from Rosemary and Co.

That Rosemary is fast cornering the entire wargames figure painting market!  :)

Lovely report Paul. Thanks. You picked out some really interesting things (love those Wattle & Daub buildings), and I love the asides about the games  ;)

Thanks Paul, great report as always. I did like the photos of the Mediterranean Village and fieldworks with their multi story buildings. I'll have to earmark them for future reference.

One question; what scale was the demo game, "Peace for Galilee?"

Helen

Best wishes,
Helen

Great write up Paul.

I agree it was much better than the last couple of years and seemed to be very busy. I spent more time there than in previous years, but managed to keep the wallet intact, too many temptations though...
