Baggot's (Scotch) Hussars for 1745
« on: August 06, 2021, 12:28:57 PM »
Heyhey, happy Friday!

Here's some pictures of Baggot's/Scotch Hussars.

Front Rank figures, and thus very pretty and neat to paint. Based on some depictions (and to break up the mono-pose goodness a bit) I sculpted some extra tartan cloaks slung around the shoulders on three of the guys. This allowed me to paint up to three different kinds of plaid onto some of these figures! :D

Yeh, unfortunately I won't get to base these figures. Sorry about that. :/

Hope you like them!

@squeaky: Thanks! :)

@Roo: At first I thought that was some sort of reference to their coats looking like pyjamas. :D Took me a while. Thanks very much!

@Will Bailie: Yup, they certainly will look the part once they're all based and sitting on a table.

@traveller: Cheers!

@CapnJim: Thank you!

Must get me some of that tartan paint...
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

@vtsaogames: :D Bah, regular paint will work. It's also not much of a problem, especially as it saves lots of time with highlighting and all that usually tiresome stuff.

@Roo: It's okay. ;)

@Captain Blood: Thank you!

@OSHIROmodels: Cheers, much appreciated.

@c. olk: Thanks!
