A 1930'S VERSION OF THE SERGEANTS 3 - PULP FIGURES - Painted by Stan Johansen, (https://www.stanjohansenminiatures.com/)

I picked up these awesomely painted figs at Stanís booth at an HMGS-South con several years ago. Stan sells all manor of painted and based game ready figures, guns, and vehicles. Many periods and scales, many genres and manufacturers, including his own line of Boxer Rebellion figures in both 28mm and 20mm.

I use these painted Pulp Figures minis for my Gunga Din and Tantrapur village games. My preferred set of colonial rules are ďThe Sword And The FlameĒ for running games at cons and our local Fort Lauderdale Florida club, the South Florida Miniatures Gamers. ( https://groups.io/g/SMG)

These pics were taken at my Village of Tantrapur game about 5 or more years ago in Orlando Fla at one of the HMGS-Southís excellent cons, Recon or HurriCon.

I have the earlier period Sergeants 3 pack from pulp figures also but I love to paint and will be painting those myself. However Stanís painted figs were so good I couldnít resist. Theyíve seen much action in my NWF games over the years! In fact, they will be appearing in my upcoming con game ďThe Last Pack Train Out Of AhoogastanĒ in September at HurriCon 21.

I can attest to the accuracy and wisdom of everything the good Sgt. Guinness has written about Stan's painting. I have both of the Sergeants3 sets painted by Stan, in addition many of my other colonial and Napoleonic troops.

My sons and I are looking forward to playing in Jeff's game "The Last Pack Train Out of Ahoogastan" at Hurricon.

It should be a great and interesting game,   I'm very intrigued at the idea of  catching mules...

@Rick, with our group Iím sure the treachery will be in high gear! It should be a fun game. Iím glad you and your sons have signed up for my game. Itíll be like old times.

@Umra Khan, yes indeed, you have much experience in the thievery of mules my friend.

@Giorgio, thank you, I wish the game were sooner so I could post the pics and AAR.

@Dinning Room Battles, Stan is a talented painter and Bob sculpts awesome figures with dynamic poses!
